Now, a new report is shedding new light on the 42-year-old’s involvement in Ant-Man 3 and it could either upset or delight the MCU fandom. According to a new scoop from the oftentimes reliable insider Daniel Richtman (via Comic Book Movie), the star of Midsommar and The Good Place is playing a character named “Quaz,” someone who is described as “a telepath who is a part of a rebel group against Kang.“This seems to put an end to the ongoing speculation that Harper is playing the Earth-616 version of Reed Richards, most recently played by John Krasinski in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In case you weren’t aware, Kang and Reed are biologically related in the comics so casting a black actor as Mister Fantastic seems to be the most logical choice. On top of that, Marvel Studios is reportedly casting POC actors to diversify the MCU’s version of the First Family.
