What Is the Plot of Dandadan?
Dandadan is an ongoing manga series that follows Momo Ayase, a high school student who believes in paranormal occurrences. Strangely, she doesn’t believe that aliens exist. After being rejected, Momo is seen sulking as she runs into a boy named Ken Takakura who is getting bullied. The boy is taken aback by her act of kindness and starts talking with her about supernatural things that they are both into. However, Momo doesn’t believe in Ken’s claims and states that she only believes in ghosts. The two get into an argument over which is real – the occult or ghosts. In an attempt to prove their respective claims, the duo decides to part ways and separately investigate by visiting locations connected with supernatural instances and occult practices. Momo visits a location where there are occurrences of occult practice, while Ken visits a location known for supernatural sightings. When they reach their destinations, they find out that both ghosts and the occult are real. Ken and Momo kick off their journey to try and fix the supernatural and sci-fi beings around them and return to their normal life.
