According to the 26-year-old actor, he decided to delete his Instagram and Twitter applications because he finds both platforms to be “overstimulating” and “overwhelming”. In a video posted on his Instagram, he said: “I get caught up and I spiral when I read things about me online, and ultimately, it’s very detrimental to my mental state, so I decided to take a step back and delete the app.“Tom’s social media pages have not been taken down so there’s still a chance he could pop up on the platform every now and then. However, don’t expect him to be as active as he used to be.
