Tokyo Revengers Manga Release Schedule: When Do New Chapters Come Out?
New chapters of the Tokyo Revengers manga are released every Tuesday in North America and every Wednesday in Japan. Every Tuesday at around 12:00 EST, new chapters of the Tokyo Revengers manga are released in North America. Chapter 264 was the most recent chapter released, with the 265th released today as of this writing. Ken Wakui is the author and illustrator of the Tokyo Revengers manga. Wakui has also worked on Shinjuku Swan, Abaddon, Budgerigar, and Desert Eagle, in addition to Tokyo Revengers. Tokyo Revengers has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine since 2017. The series has produced 28 manga volumes, with over 65 million copies in circulation and seven million internationally. In addition to its popularity, the series received the Kodansha manga award in the Shonen category in 2020. Not to mention that the series was named the third best-selling manga series in 2021, with 24.9 million copies sold. Furthermore, Kodansha USA has released the series digitally in North America. The series has produced 26 manga volumes in English print as of June 2022. As of this writing, there is no release date yet for the 27th and 28th manga volumes in English print for North American distribution. Moreover, the manga has spawned two spin-offs! In October 2021, Shinpei Funatsu released Todai Revengers, a Tokyo revengers spin-off parody. The other spin-off released in June 2022 was titled Tokyo Revengers: Baji Keisuke Kara no Tegami, written and illustrated by Yukinori Kawaguchi. Despite its popularity, the manga is coming to an end soon after the previous announcement that Tokyo Revengers had entered its final arc in May 2021. Fortunately, the series will still be around for a while. The second season of Tokyo Revengers will premiere on January 2023 and will cover the manga’s Christmas Showdown Arc.
