Now, the “most electrifying man” in entertainment is seemingly taking shots at WB’s previous regime. In a recent interview to promote the film, Johnson claims that the unnamed executives from the old WB have been blocking their attempts over the last six years to keep Cavill as the franchise’s Man of Steel. However, the new management led by WB Discovery CEO David Zaslav made things easier for them.The Rock said: “This serves not only Black Adam, but it serves the larger DC Universe. But man, more importantly than that, it takes care of the fans, and that’s what you want your lead foot to be. And yes, phone calls and meetings, but man, it was years…this was six years to get that done.“He added: “I’m gonna say that again - six years, we first started talking about this, and they kept saying no.
