Making Star Wars has reported that the final trailer for the third season of The Mandalorian is set to release this coming Christmas Day, December 25. They also noted that the official poster will likely launch on December 14 “if plans do not change.” They claimed that the upcoming final trailer will give us our first look at Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd’s character who is described as a “crusty old white dude Mando-clan-leader” and a shot of Mando helmet with horns on top that is likely to be owned by Lloyd’s character.
In addition, they reported that the trailer will likely have a misdirect that will imply that Din Djarin and Bo-Katan are going to be enemies during the season even though they are going to be mostly allies throughout its run. We do have to take note that this information has not been confirmed by Lucasfilm and Disney+ yet so we have to take it with a grain of salt. Since the outlet has reported a lot of accurate scoops before, there is a likelihood that this information is legit. Considering that it will be around two months before its planned February 2023 release date and a perfect time for release since it could be their holiday treat for fans, December 25 sounds like a plausible date to release the final trailer and it will give fans something to look forward to for that special day if this news does end up being true.
