In Episode 5 of The Eminence in Shadow, Cid does another undertaking against The Third Awakened Instructor Zenon Griffey, who captured Alexia one episode ago. Seeing Cid’s skill, Alexia changes her mind about Cid – though much of it is because of jealousy of his powers. Cid is very over the top in the latest episode, and by the end, he has proved his innocence after being accused initially of abducting Alexia. As a result, the princess wants to date Cid again, but this time for real. However, Cid’s rejection of Alexia is as over the top as the rest of his actions in Episode 5.
