In a recent interview with Geek House Show (via ComicBook.com), Arrow star Stephen Amell was asked whether he would be down to join the DCU. While the actor expressed his interest to reprise the role on the big screen, he has one specific condition regarding its creative direction. “If I’m gonna be a part of the [DC Universe], I’d probably just want to play the Green Arrow in there,” he said. “If I had to pick one, I’d pick my own movie, only because there’s so many things that selfishly I would like to do with Arrow that we couldn’t necessarily do on TV.”

The actor also noted that he has not been approached by DC Studios about his potential involvement in the franchise, but he has hopes that it could happen. “I mean, are they still separate? Didn’t we have two Flashes in the Arrowverse at one point? So, I don’t know. We’ll see. Whatever they want,” he added. There are some fans who would definitely love to see Amell reprise the role on the new DCU. However, Gunn and Safran have not announced yet whether the Green Arrow will be part of their plans. If it does happen, it is also unknown whether they’ll ask Amell to play him again or just hire another actor. Right now, with all the uncertainties that are happening in the DCU franchise as we’re patiently waiting for Gunn and Safran to unveil their plans, it is hard to tell whether Amell’s wishes could actually happen. All we can say is that there are fans who would definitely welcome the idea. Also Read: The Flash Final Season Unveils Trailer Teasing Barry Allen’s Last Run
