Star Wars: Ahsoka Release Date: When Will the New Star Wars Spinoff Come Out?
Ahsoka has only started production on May 9, 2022, as announced by Disney+ on their official Twitter account. The streaming service first confirmed in October 2021 that Ahsoka would not start production until early 2022. In an interview with ScreenRant, Ahsoka lead star Rosario Dawson confirmed that filming was still ongoing by September 2022. Since production has only started, we can expect the series to premiere in late 2022 at the earliest, given how much CGI and editing the episodes may need. If this were the case, it would follow the trend of other live-action Star Wars spinoffs premiering late in the year. The Book of Boba Fett, for example, came out on December 29, 2021. Ahsoka lead star Rosario Dawson shared a quick behind-the-scenes clip of her during filming. It was a video of her silhouette, wearing her complete Ahsoka costume. She posted the reel with the caption, “Happy Summer Solstice.” This update confirms that production is underway.
Star Wars: Ahsoka Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Disney+ Series?
Rosario Dawson will return to play Ahsoka to star in her own series. Ahsoka had to go through a lot of difficulties, and Dawson’s portrayal brought the character to life for so many fans. In one of her interviews, Dawson explained:

Hayden Christensen will be part of the show as Anakin Skywalker, the man who eventually becomes Darth Vader. The series takes place after the death of Death Vader so that we may see him in flashbacks in Ahsoka’s memories. There have also been some speculations that Ahsoka would use time travel to communicate with her master. Christensen is also set to appear in another Star Wars spinoff: Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan premiers on May 27, 2022. Natasha Liu Bordizzo also joins the series Sabine Wren, an Imperial Academy dropout who is a young Mandalorian. Sabine Wren first appeared in Star Wars: Rebels, where we saw her expertise in weaponry and explosives. We can also expect to see more new faces in Ahsoka and the Star Wars universe. Ivanna Sakhno, Ray Stevenson, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have the best cast for the Disney+ series, though their characters are yet to be revealed. Winstead may know one or two things about Star Wars through her real-life husband, Ewan McGregor (no other than Obi-Wan himself). We may see actors from other Star Wars shows, like Temuera Morrison from The Book of Boba Fett, but chances are we may not see Obi-Wan cross over to Ahsoka because of the time differences between the two.

Star Wars: Ahsoka Plot: What Will be the Plot of the Series?
Star Wars fans first met Ahsoka Tano in the animated series of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. We then met live-action Ahsoka when she appeared in The Mandalorian Chapter 13: The Jedi, played by Rosario Dawson. In this episode, Ahsoka helps rid a village of their tyrannical ruler Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth. It was unclear why Ahsoka spent her time in this village in the first place, but we later learn that she targeted Elsbeth because of her connection to the Empire and the Imperial Navy. Ahsoka wants to know where her master, Admiral Thrawn, is. To review, Admiral Thrawn first appeared in Star Wars Rebels, which ended with a cliffhanger. We do not know what happened to Admiral Thrawn, but this could mean that the admiral is alive. So far, this is the plot that Ahsoka is most likely to take.
