The covers of these spin-offs were revealed by the series’ official Twitter account. These include the two-volume One Piece episode A, along with the Shokugeki no Sanji compilation. One Piece episode A is a manga adaptation of the two-part novel series, One Piece novel A. The manga was illustrated by Boichi, the illustrator of Dr. Stone. The episode A adaptation consists of four chapters which were released between September 16, 2020, and December 2, 2021. These four chapters were published in Volumes 10-13 of the One Piece Magazine. As for the story, episode A follows the journey of Portgas D. Ace from his formation of the Spade Pirates to his joining up with the Whitebeard Pirates. Aside from the four chapters, the two-part volume release will also feature two of Boichi’s one-shots that he drew, namely Roronoa Zoro Falls Into the Sea and Nami vs. Kalifa. Next up is the Shokugeki no Sanji volume. In case you’re unfamiliar, Shokugeki no Sanji is a series of one-shots created by Yuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki – the creators of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma. These one-shots were released irregularly in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in July 2018. Currently, there have been five one-shots in the series, though the upcoming volume release is said to feature six chapters. As these one-shots are made by the Food Wars creators, it should come as no surprise that each story centers around food. These two One Piece manga spin-offs will release in Japan on August 4, 2022. Currently, there’s no word yet on if these spin-offs will be released in English outside of Japan.
