The production company has evidently shifted its focus to developing shows for Disney+ which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Still, Star Wars diehards are curious to see the future of the franchise’s big-screen projects. Now, it looks like Lucasfilm is still actively working on movies and just announced that a new project is in the works.Deadline reports that a “secret” Star Wars film is being developed to be written by Damon Lindelof and directed by Ms. Marvel’s Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy who helmed Episodes 4 and 5 of the hit MCU series. The report adds that Lindelof will be joined by a yet-to-be-named writer to pen the film’s script. So far, key details about the film are being kept under wraps but could it be the long-rumored follow-up to 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker?
