The episode starts with Shiori acknowledging that she and Jirou haven’t been able to talk after the kissing incident. She wondered how long things would stay that way. Meanwhile, the monthly ranking of the Couple Practical course was out, and Jirou and Akari placed 13th. Akari was disappointed because they were just three spots away from getting into the top 10. But she was ready to go all out and was counting on Jirou for another month. Later, Jirou pondered over how he never found out what happened the day Akari cried. She just went back to normal as if nothing happened. He continued to wonder if Akari cried her heart out and still wants to pair up with Minami. Suddenly, Akari barged into the bathroom, startling Jirou. As it turns out, a tiny spider was terrorizing her in the living room and she wanted Jirou to get rid of it. Before Jirou could do anything, the spider had already disappeared, but Akari feared that it might show up again. She wanted Jirou to stay with her for a while so that when the spider shows up, he can catch it. Meanwhile, Jirou could not believe that he was living with a gyaru, but things were somehow working out between them. Akari then asked Jirou if they should try dating to increase their chances of breaching the top-10 barrier. Jirou looked at Akari and the latter said that she was just kidding about it. However, Jirou wondered if Akari was really serious about the idea of the two of them dating. Elsewhere, Shiori was unable to sleep, so Minami asked if anything was troubling her. He even offered to hear her out but wasn’t sure if he could be of any help. Shiori then told him about her “friend” who reunited with a boy she liked. In truth, she was actually sharing her own experience when she and Jirou kissed in the nurse’s room. She poured her heart out and shared her confusion with Minami. The next day, Shiori and Mei were choosing outfits together. For some reason, the two shared a moment. It appeared that Mei has the hots for Shiori as she blushed while talking with her. Furthermore, she wanted to choose an outfit that Shiori would like to see her in. However, at one point, Mei held Shiori’s face and told her that she must go, hug Jirou, and tell him how great it is to be an adult for once. She asked Shiori to throw herself out there for him to see. Shiori looked visibly embarrassed and asked Mei not to be so loud. Later, Mei and Shiori got a chance to spend the night together because their pretend husbands were planning to head to the karaoke after work. Shiori was excited to have a sleepover with Mei and the latter continued to blush while Shiori was making all sorts of plans. Suddenly, Mei received a text from her mother, so she excused herself. Elsewhere, Sadaharu and Jirou were in a café catching up. At that moment, Shiori happened to pass by. Jirou and Sadaharu were goofing around and it looked like they were about to kiss each other. Jirou saw Shiori and ran after her to explain the situation. As it turns out, she did not see anything, so the misunderstanding was cleared. They then started talking about their kiss and Jirou was shown apologizing to Shiori, but she confessed that she was the one who asked him to teach her the art of kissing. She added that she learned a lot from the experience. Jirou was left wondering why she was saying all this and yet she still just wants to be friends with him.
