Speaking of, the star of Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye is generating quite the buzz as of late after her appearance at the Couture Fashion Show in Rome. Pugh stunned everyone as she wore a magenta Valentino dress to the spectacle but not everyone was pleased with her choice of clothing. You see, the dress Pugh was wearing was actually see-through and it was deemed too revealing for some people’s taste. Shockingly enough, the actress is getting attacked online by male fans who didn’t appreciate that she was wearing clothes that expose her breasts. Some even went as far as body-shaming the Little Women star. Pugh later took to Instagram to post a lengthy statement blasting her critics. Admittedly, she knew that the dress she wore to the fashion show would stir controversy but she wasn’t all that concerned about it. What’s bothersome for her is the fact that most male fans have zero respect for her and women in general. A part of her post writes: “Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it. Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing.I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn’t before, during or even now after.” She continued: “What’s been interesting to watch and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see. You even do it with your job titles and work emails in your bio..?” Check out her full statement here. Also Read: Hawkeye: Instagram Blocks Florence Pugh For Posting Spoiler ImagesOf course, Florence has every right to be upset and she also has all the right in the world to wear what she wants to wear because it’s her body after all.
