Marvel’s Blade has been announced to form part of the MCU Phase Five as it is revealed to be set for premiere in theaters on November 3, 2023. This is the first time Blade got a definitive release date after various speculations that the movie will come out sometime in 2022.
In the official press release of Disney for the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con, it has been confirmed that Mahershala Ali’s Blade will be coming to set and start its production in October this year.
Considering the release date of Marvel’s Blade, it is about time for the film to start shooting to still have ample time in the post-editing stage of the movie.
The production and filming of the movie is about to start in October 2022 at the Tyler Perry Studio located in Atlanta, and other locations such as Ohio, New Orleans, and Morocco.

Marvel’s Blade is about the Daywalker who hunts vampires hunting the undead who have long preyed on humanity. Orphaned at a very young age, Blade spent his waking years in revenge for his mother, Tara Brooks, who has been killed by vampires which led him to master his own fighting style to combat monsters of every kind.
Mahershala Ali lands the titular character and he will be joined by Kit Harrington back as Dane Whitman, Aaron Pierre, Eiza Gonzales, Delroy Lindo, and John West Jr.
Marvel’s Blade is scheduled for release in theaters on November 3, 2023.
