As it stands, Gunn is currently writing the script for the Man of Steel reboot that would see a younger Clark Kent who is just starting out as a reporter at the Daily Planet. Key details about the project have yet to be disclosed but a lot of people are already doubting the Peacemaker director’s vision for DC’s flagship superhero.On Twitter, one fan even claimed that Gunn will “f-ck up” Superman but instead of hitting back, the Marvel director decided to offer a quirky response. I honestly don’t know where all the hate is coming from but I certainly hope Gunn makes good on his promise to put the fans first before anything else. Meanwhile, in other DCU news, the franchise’s next film Shazam! Fury of the Gods is scheduled for release on March 17, 2023.
