This is actually the first time we’re hearing about The Recruit. But the good news is, we don’t have to wait too long for the show to be released.
The Recruit Release Date
During the Tudum event, Centineo revealed that The Recruit will be released on Dec. 16, 2022. The eight episodes will all be dropped on the same day.
What Is The Recruit About?
In its logline, The Recruit is described as “a fledging lawyer at the CIA that becomes enmeshed in dangerous international power politics when a former asset threatens to expose the nature of her long-term relationship with the agency unless they exonerate her of a serious crime.” Centineo stars as Owen Hendricks, a young lawyer who works for the CIA. During his first week on the job, he comes across a letter from an ex-CIA asset that gives an ultimatum to the organization. It is up to Hendricks to get to the bottom of things. The show is created by Alexi Hawley who also acts as the showrunner and executive producer. Centineo is also an executive producer for the series.
