As D23 was approaching, several sources, most notably reporter Emmet Kennedy claimed that the British actor will be one of the surprises pulled by Marvel Studios during its MCU presentation. Well, much to the chagrin of fans, Cavill, who is heavily rumored to be making his debut in Loki Season 2 as the villain Hyperion didn’t show up at the Disney spectacle.As it stands, Cavill’s DCEU and MCU involvement remain uncertain but HBO Max’s latest update seems to drop promising clues about Cavill’s future as Kal_El. It turns out that the streaming service updated its profile picture library and added several DCEU characters, including Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck’s Batman, and the Last Son of Krypton himself.Intriguingly, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg was also added to the profile picture options.
