Once a hero, always a hero, right? In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, anyone who gets into the franchise would surely have secured a safe spot in popularity.
However, not every actor or actress would like to star in an MCU film like Simon Pegg who recently told Newsweek that he doesn’t want to be in a Marvel movie because of the expensive contracts and for him, the franchise is not that “grown-up.” After Pegg, another actress reveals she wouldn’t star in an MCU movie as well – Jamie Lee Curtis.
Jamie Lee Curtis is best known for being the final girl in Halloween where she faced Michael Myers a couple of times and her journey too being the ultimate Halloween final girl may be coming soon in the upcoming movie Halloween Ends.

Surely, Curtis can pull off any role given to her like in Perfect where she became a sexy symbol in the 80s, or in True Lies with her award winning portrayal of Helen Tasker, in Everything Everywhere At Once as Deirdre, or in Freaky Friday as Tess Coleman, but if given a chance in the MCU, she’d probably turn it down.
In an inteview with People for Halloween Ends, Jamie Lee Curtis revealed that she doesn’t want to join the MCU because she couldn’t take what happens behind the scenes for the visual effects, “I’m afraid if I do a Marvel movie, they’re going to stick dots all over me and make me act by myself in a warehouse somewhere.”
Curtis added, “I would find it hard to imagine that Marvel’s going to figure out something to do with a 64-year-old woman.”
With all the powers and intense scenes, the Marvel Cinematic Universe haven’t had any movie or series that wouldn’t have any VFX. Given the nature of the narratives, it is an essential part to deliver only the best to their audience. Surely, the behind-the-scenes look weird but the results are stunning.
Guess Curtis would want to be the final girl in the Halloween movies only.
Halloween Ends releases in cinemas on October 14, 2022.
