Specifically, two new voice actors are joining the show, and one of them will play a major role in the Swordsmith Village arc of Demon Slayer. The other VA has played supporting roles in various anime titles (via Mantan Web).
Chainsaw Man Success, Voice Cast
The ongoing Fall 2022 season is a big one for anime fans as there are lots of highly anticipated shows that are currently airing. Among them is Chainsaw Man, an anime by MAPPA that’s based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Fujimoto’s manga series originally came out in 2018, and it has since become one of Shueisha’s biggest modern hits in terms of copies in circulation. Back in July, Part 2 of Chainsaw Man began serialization, though new chapters are released on Jump+ instead of Weekly Shonen Jump. For fans outside Japan who are interested in the manga, it is still serialized and available to read on Manga Plus. As for the anime series, it began airing in October 2022, and it has proven to be one of this season’s biggest hits, with each new episode trending on various platforms online. The Chainsaw Man anime living up to the hype is a result of many factors, but a huge part of it is the staff and cast who work behind the scenes to make the show as thrilling and entertaining as it is. Demon Slayer Star Joins the Chainsaw Man Voice Cast
Joining Chainsaw Man’s ensemble of renowned voice actors is Kengo Kawanishi who will voice Yutaro Kurose, a public safety devil hunter from Kyoto who will debut in Episode 9. Kawanishi is best known for voicing Muichiro Tokito aka the Mist Hashira in Demon Slayer. He is also the voice of Gen Asagiri in Dr. Stone and Rei Kiriyama in March Comes In Like a Lion. Another VA joining the hit show’s cast is Hitomi Ueda who will voice Michiko Tendo, another public safety devil hunter from Kyoto who works alongside Kurose. Ueda has played various supporting anime roles, including Gold Ship in Uma Musume, Lydia in Shadows House, and Kousuke in Sabikui Bisco.
