Bad Prosecutor Episode 3 sees Jin Jung working as fast as he can to uncover evidence linking the district chief, Lee Jang-Won, to the Seochong-dong murder case. He was able to sneak into the inauguration ceremony of Prosecutor Lee to arrest him as the prime suspect. He connects to Yoo Jin-Cheol through a phone call and lets him confess that Prosecutor Lee is a sponsor of the woman who was killed and that he was the last person he saw with the victim. Jin Jung surprises Shin Ara and his subordinates by setting up a plan to sneak into the prosecutor’s office to get the USB containing the evidence that Oh Do-Hwan had stolen. After several unexpected developments, Baek Eun-Ji sprayed tear gas into the room while everyone else escaped the building. Jin Jung retrieved the USB drive from Prosecutor Lee’s safe. Lee Jang-Won knows that it was Jin Jung who created the commotion. He calls him into his office.
