Speaking recently with Distractify, Mackie assured fans that, while he and Stan will have their own separate projects in the MCU, it is “inevitable” that they’re going to team up again in the future and jokingly suggested that his co-star “can never be free” from him. “Sebastian and I work really well together. We have a lot of fun together. We’re old enough now to where we can’t get in trouble anymore. So, you know, I think it’s inevitable that at some point in time, we’ll cross paths in the universe again,” Mackie said.
It is great to hear that there is a strong chance that Mackie and Stan will team up again in another MCU project in the future considering the chemistry that they have which fans really appreciate a lot and wouldn’t mind seeing them together again whether it’s on a movie or TV show. Right now, based on the information that we have so far on their upcoming slate, it is likely that the two will team up again in the upcoming two Avengers movies since the heroes have to work together at that point to face off a giant threat just like what they’ve done in the past Avengers movies. There are also speculations that Stan could show up for a cameo in Captain America: New World Order since he is usually part of the movies surrounding the hero. Either way, a team-up between the two is something that we can look to in the future of the MCU.
