Now, as reported by Collider, Disney+ has unveiled the episode titles for the first 3 episodes of Andor the day after its premiere. No reason was stated regarding why they were absent when they arrived on Wednesday at midnight, but it is speculated that it is most likely because Lucasfilm wants to avoid any spoilers from being leaked. Here are the episode titles of the first three episodes:
Episode 1 - “Kassa"Episode 2 - “That Would Be Me"Episode 3 - “Reckoning”
In the case of the third episode, interestingly enough, there was a previous episode of The Mandalorian that was titled “The Reckoning” so this may be the first time that two live-action Star Wars shows are sharing the same episode titles. Obviously, they don’t have any plot connections except their namesake. It is interesting to see that the show has episode titles now the day after it premiered which itself is a strange situation to see since this wasn’t done in any of the previous Star Wars shows. While titles are not necessarily a big deal, it does foreshadow to the viewers what we might expect when we watch the episode. The series has been receiving rave reviews from critics and the audience and some deemed it “the best Star Wars show” to date just based solely on the earlier episodes. Let’s wait and see if they will be able to keep the momentum until the season ends.
