Now, it looks like she has finally been removed from the upcoming Aquaman sequel.According to DCEU scooper Syl Abdul, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom recently went through reshoots with “almost everyone” from the cast. Obviously, this suggests that Amber might have been excluded from filming. Intriguingly, the scooper also claims that Mera was actually part of the reshoots but the identity of the actress who played the character is being kept under wraps. Then again, it could still end up being Heard and they’re probably just doing it to avoid further backlash. Also Read: Aquaman Star Amber Heard Reportedly Admired by Spanish NeighborsA lot of people are under the impression that Amber’s DCEU future is in doubt but it’s worth noting that WB has seemingly been turning a blind eye to Ezra Miller’s controversies.
